Rapid response and withholding
Respond to GO, TAP, and NOW while withholding responses to WAIT, REST, and HOLD. Choose a quick or standard block and review correct targets, misses, false taps, accuracy, and average target response time. The result describes this short task, not attention as a whole.
Respond to targets and withhold responses to non-targets in a short Go/No-Go block.
Tap GO, TAP, NOW. Do not tap WAIT, REST, HOLD.

This is a short Go/No-Go implementation. Target labels require a response; non-target labels require restraint. Misses and false taps represent different mistakes and remain separate in the result.
It differs from Sustained Attention, which uses lower-frequency targets for one to five minutes, and from the Concentration Test, which combines a different short accuracy-and-pace rule.
A correct response is a tap on a target. A miss is a target that receives no response. A false tap is a response to a non-target. Accuracy uses the task's completed decision opportunities rather than treating fast tapping as success.
Average response time covers recorded target responses. Read it with misses and false taps: faster timing with more false responses is a different response strategy, not an unqualified improvement.
Quick mode offers fewer decisions for a brief rule check. Standard mode offers more observations and is less dominated by one error. The modes are not directly interchangeable because their trial counts differ.
Keep mode, device, input method, and surroundings steady. Use several recent blocks rather than interpreting one low or high result as a daily readiness measure.
The page has no clinical interview, age norm, diagnostic cutoff, symptom history, or controlled administration. It cannot estimate ADHD likelihood or label a response pattern normal or abnormal.
Use it for learning the target/withhold rule and comparing the same short browser task. Daily-life concerns require a different and appropriately qualified source.
Completed records save mode, correct responses, misses, false taps, accuracy, and timing in localStorage. Clearing browser site data removes them.
The task does not upload scores to an account. General page analytics remain separate and are described by the privacy policy.
